  1. Phone have a come a long way. I still remember the days where we had rotary (round dials) phones.

Even cell phones' evolution is impressive: from giant blocks like the one in your photo to something that can fit in the palm of our hands.

Some people don't even use phones for their original purpose of making voice calls but use phones as smart computing or non-voice communicating purposes :-)

  4. A smartphone is a mobile phone with an independent operating system and independent functional space, which can be installed by the user, game, navigation, and other third-party services provided by the device, and can achieve wireless network access through the mobile communication network.

  5. Phones have come a long way indeed. Does anyone remember land lines? Due to cell phones and mobile devices, it has become a thing of the past. A lot of companies now a days don't have land lines and utilize cell phones.

  6. My mom still has that big massive brick on her shelf. I have no idea she still had it. Kind of funny how we all wanted it to be smaller then all of a sudden the Samsung Note comes out and everyone wants a bigger phone.

  7. Can we all remember the "pager"? I don't think we could have a cell phone now, if we did not evolve from the pager. What would happen if we all had to revert back to old communications?

  14. The evolution of smartphones is amazing showing how fast technology really develops. Wasn't there a phone in 1988 Motorola Bag Phone? This would have been a cool addition. Thank you so much for sharing this.

  17. Cell phones' emergence as a technology has made it possible to link individuals in a variety of settings and approaches. Simply put, it was a good idea to design these devices so that, in contrast to computers, we could take them anyplace with us.

  18. It is truly amazing how far cell phones have come. I can remember my first cell phone back in 2003, the only game I had was a Snake (a game in which there was a line "snake" and you moved around the screen and the longer you could move without running into yourself the longer the snake got.) to my phone today where I can play Fortnite a MMO with people from all around the world or even search the internet.
