7 Tips for Slide Design in PowerPoint
- Utilize the entire space of the slideshow by maximizing your footprint of the graphic or text you are using.
- Use correct font size and color if presenting from a projector.
- Use high quality images.
- Avoid too many special effects.
- Less is More.
- Don't face the screen and read the slide.
- Speak to the entire audience.

ReplyDeleteLess is definitely more. I learned that during the making of my PowerPoint slideshow because I would become so dissatisfied utilizing unnecessary transitions, effects, and even slides.

ReplyDeleteAll great tips Kevin! I especially agree with #4. When watching a PowerPoint presentation, too many special effects can be distracting.
